Queenstown winter adventure elopement ft a helicopter,wine and cheese
cory and jess flew all the way from the states to have a killer winter elopement in queenstown. A helicopter adventure was a must!
We kicked off this adventure elopement at a sweet little airbnb overlooking Lake willow and then headed up to skippers crag for a little exploring before we had to head on over to heliworks to get our ride up to the incredible earnslaw burn... but of course we snuck some cheeky tacos in to fill us up before we got onboard.
The heli flight over mount larkins and skippers canyon was something else and to say we were all a bit on edge everytime the helicopter shook would be an understatement.
Landing in earnslaw is other worldly... first off you fly right next to the glacier if your pilot is ballsy enough and then you drop on down into what feels like something out of a movie.. literally though, they filmed lotr here.
After frolicking around and checking out the area it was off to cecils peak for the vow and ring exchange.

these guys nailed their vows... personal, well thought out and hella emotional... they had me a lil misty to be truthful.
after that tear jerker it was back down to queenstown to finish their adventure with a little wine and cheese night before delivering these newlyweds back to their airbnb before we dissapeared into the night.. aka our flight home.
